We haven't really had any fog at all this year, only occasionally off the lakes

In front of our house we have our woodland & then unobstructed 180o views of the approaches to Halifax harbour.
Great when it's sunny, scary in hurricanes & apt to lead to suicidal ideation in fog (which we get, on & off, for around 8 weeks a year)...

Is it the fog that ruined your reccie or just the fact that it has been raining a lot the past couple weeks.

This is definitely what I call the rainy season. All good though because the grass is lovely and green, bushes/trees sprouting their leaves and flowers are coming out. My pool and well are filling up nicely too. We need the rain now to set us up for the hot summer

What you need are rose tinted glasses, then the fog and rain wouldn't bother you.
