Book a return, using any return date within a year. Its cheaper. BA and Air Canada are your lot, Air Transat are mysteriously booked already for the whole of March.

Being helpful here, not sarky but there is a search box to the right hand side of the forum page....sometimes it works but actually here I think it's quicker to ask as all the previous threads would have included Zoom! :thumbup:

Re: Flights vancouver

you want manchester to vancouver its not going to happen

transat start flying from the 1st may too november only (it shows as fully booked on some sites , but they dont fly at all)

and if you look air canada and BA all flights are via London ..

So this is why your prices are bumped up soo much.. We were looking last night for a couple of hours for flights in march between manchester and vancouver with no luck... So changed the dates to may and alot of luck....

Look at london to vancouver on air transat and you will find some good and cheap deals in march.

The last time we flew to Vancouver it was with Thomas Cook with a stop over in Calgary, however after checking it seems they have no flights during March. Try Travel supermarket, they're showing Man - Van for £673 return flying 1st Mar with BA

Re: Flights vancouver

Your options for MAN - YVR in March are:

* BA (via LHR)
* Air Canada (via LHR)
* KLM (via AMS)

Book a return - as others have said, it's cheaper.

I booked mid Sept during the BA sale and did it directly via the BA website - I paid £523. I'm going out Jan 20 2009 and the return is booked for Jun 8 2009 but will cancel it when I get over there.

Good luck! :)

Re: Flights vancouver

Well heres what iv found out!!!

Its way more pricey to fly from manchester than it is london

Im getting quotes of £259 from london... So id rather shell out on a train and if need be a hotel the night before the flight and pay£330-£350 than £500+!!!!

So i think ill go down this route!!!

Thanks for the help
(give me more if you know any)

Re: Flights vancouver

double check thats the final final price your going to pay

as seems all the airlines just love to add 101 taxes fuel surcharges and other nonsense that all seem totaly random...

Just go through all the buying process up to the point you about to write credit card details seems to be the only way to get the full price :curse::curse::curse:

But yeah it works out cheaper to fly from london , even with the price of a hotel on top....
