Hey Lorna & Mal,
Best of luck out there and it will be worth the wait i'm sure. You will miss all this lovely weather we get in Wales you know. Never mind hot summers to look forward to and freezing winters, it's a sight better than rain every week here thou, always a trade off somewhere.
All the best,
LOAFY...:D

thanks Iain, won't be too much longer for you and Clair and dog/s

Lorna - only noticed the thread tonight. Glad to hear you have the flights sorted:eek: You cow, you are going to beat me to Regina after all:rofl: Only joking:rofl:

Did you get accommodation sorted in Regina yet. What about Archie?

Wish MAl all the best for coping without you for a week.

thanks Al, no we haven't got accomodation yet. My mind is in a turmoil at the moment with all the last minute things at home. You wait for lmo then approval then it's on top of you and things start going 100 miles an hour.

Have given my notice in work, cancelled direct debits etc, phone lecci, gas, bt, broad band etc. Now looking at goods to follow list, whether we give Archie is rabies shot now, where do we want to live.................. phew my head is buzzing.

I'll have my first cold one for you and OH when my feet are on Canadian soil.
Mal's been a truck driver for years and on sooooo many rugby tours that he can manage well enough without me for a week - any longer and he'll have to start thinking for himself (looks over shoulder) hee hee.

If you need any help with anything - let me know. I would be glad to assist. Seeing my husband's name is Rhys Williams - I can hardly turn you down - even if I have never set foot in Wales!

What are you looking for for accommodation?

Thanks Liz - you can't get any more Welsh than Rhys Williams any relationship to the Rugby Player?

To be honest about accommodation, we've never been to Regina so have no idea what the place is like. I am trying to be realistic for the winter months and rent something in Regina until we get settled and start the buying process. Mal will be working out of a depot in North West Regina but as long as the accommodation is a reasonable cost and within 1/2 or so drive to his base I am quite easy for a few months. Mal will be on the road for days at a time so it must be a good area if you now what I mean.

I would like to bring our dog over but most of the rental I look at on the internet and some that Alvic has rung will not take dogs. So for the first few weeks we are leaving our dog with our daughter.

If you know of any places that are good I would be grateful if you could let me know.

Lorna:thumbsup:
