Flights
I was looking at flight prices out in Oct. or Nov depending on how things progress to Land by myself to become legal and fly back 2/3 days later. This would enable me to have the residency card and then say that I am legal in job applications.
However, after Oct 31st both BA and Air canada have jumped from 360 GBP to over 740 GBP. Anyone know why this should be ? Therefore it could be Toronto for a few days which is only 330 GBP. Anything to do with 2010 Olympics / or snow season ? JET:) |
Re: Flights
Getting closer to xmas the flights nearly always take a hefty jump in part due to the lesser frequency of the flights - you should see them coming down a bit for after December 25th

Seats are sold in classes, once one rate class sells out, the price moves up to the next rate class. On busy routes, the nearer you get to departure time, the higher the prices often get. As a rule about 90 days out the prices are generally more attractive, unless a seat sale comes on later, which you won't know until it happens.
If direct flights to YVR are sold out in the lower fare classes, then going through YYZ is often a good possibility. If you want to post some possible dates I will give you an idea of availability on AC and some suggestions. |
