Hi and welcome to the forum.

I think you are confusing things: a LMO is an individiual thing that would be specifically for you and your job. An employer will not have one already, they'd have to apply for it, giving details of the job and your qualifications and experience. Plus of course proof that they've advertised it across Canada and details of any Canadians that applied and why they weren't suitable.

LMO's are getting harder to obtain at the moment with so many Canadians out of work due to the recession there, but hopefully you've got specialist skills that will help.

So once you've finished your course you'll need to just apply for jobs then, and if you get offered one, your employer will have to obtain the LMO for you.

How long is the course you will be studying in Alberta? Do you already have your study permit?

Good luck. :)
