Question File transfer?

Hi,

In an earlier thread I read about a file being transfered from London, England, to Kelowna in British Columbia!

Does anyone know why this would have been done? I know that the person was applying to live in BC but if the file was transfered to Kelowna they would then have to travel from England to Canada for the interview! This seems rather odd.

Any thoughts anyone?

Regards.

Hi PMM,

Ah but it did happen! I must admit that it did sound strange to me but April / Chris said it happened twice to them.

Regards.

PR visa application files will not be transferred from overseas post (CHC London) to
Kelowna for any reason, period.

Perhaps it is London Ont., this is more likely.

April/Chris stated in earlier thread that she had applied under family business.
London CHC would contact Kelowna for their opinion on family business offer only, not
to process the application.

Hi sorry
I seem to mixed up everyone.
I did not mean a PR application was transferred
It was a family business scheme and a 1 year work permit application at the same business.
These applications were all prepared by 4 corners in Manchester UK and the visa officers in Kelown refused it because of lack of information sent to them by Porter Mathews there lawyers in Toronto.
My initial question which has thrown everyone was, is it likly that my new PR application submitted to London UK is going to end up in Kelowna TOO.

Sorry for confusion I though this was simple !!!!

Thanks again

nope.. applications for pr submitted to an overseas visa post are always processed by that visa post...

they will ofcourse enquire internally as to why your earlier applications were refused...

Thank you Bighead for understanding my question your the only one that did.
Thanks for the reply.
I understand now that my PR application will not get posted to Kelowna.
My thinking behind this was that it may go back to the person who had rejected my last application as he knows of my history.
This was not an unreasonable thought on my behalf as I am no expert.

Thanks again
Chris.
