Hi
I have my FBI clearance, but my wife has had problems with her fingerprinting. We had sent fingerprints twice to the FBI and both times, they sent back saying the 'characteristics are too low to be used'. We will try again. There are some posts in this forum where some of them had this problem and they were sent a letter by FBI about this and asked them to contact the CIC to seek alternatives. Curious about what has been done and what was the reply from CIC.
Does it matter if she is a dependant? Requirement is all dependants above 18yrs are required to have FBI clearance / police clearance.
Request their experiences in this regard.
Thanks

I had the same problems with my wife finger prints and we also sent twice and got the same letters, we wrote again to FBI and they sent a letter that FBI can not classyfy finger prints and Canada immigration have other alternatives. so with this letter and all the returned FBI FingerPrint Forms I sent it to the Consulate which was handling the case and wrote in cover letter that please let me know what I should do in this case, I never recieved any reply from Canada consulte in this regard but after one month I recived Landing papers for me and my wife. Just send the Canadian Conulate everything by registred Post all the returned FBI fingerprint card and letter from FBI, Please keep the Copy of each for your records(both side of each FBI card and letters for your records)
Good Luck!!
