Hi everyone, I have read about the fast track work programme for skilled trades in Canada.

wondered if anyone else has gone through with this and if so, what was it like, how does it all work.... any nightmares etc??

I am a cnc machinist and have applied to the immgration office and wait for a response.

does the fast track apply for my partner and baby daughter also??

any info would be a greaT HELP!!

THANKS, GRANT

Well, you seem to have found the Wiki section that YYZlover pointed out to you, and you may be ahead of me. But I'll point you to some of the most relevant articles:
Labour Shortages - Machinists appear on the Occupations under Pressure lists for Alberta and British Columbia, and they are listed in the Expedited Labour Market Opinion Pilot Project for Alberta and BC as well.

Beginner's Guide to Canadian Immigration

Where to live
Hope that helps.
