Fact-finding Trip and Tours !!!

For those coming over for a fact-finding trip, and want something to go do or see, I just thought I'll start a little events/activities going on around now, hopefully people can say where they are going to be visiting, and ask what is going on around that time.

Well....in Ontario, if you are going to be in the Niagara region, which I know many people like visiting, there is going to be a wine festival starting on the 17th, and it goes on till the 26th of September.

We are going to be visiting there, and making it like a day out kind of thing.

Isn't there some sort of area where they have (gee what's it called?) oh, I know Ocean MXD will know) sort of an aquarium or something with a picnic area?

Its called the butterfly conservatory, there is also the botanical garden, the floral clock as you drive towards Niagara on the lake, and there are several picnic areas round there. Once fun thing that gets left out though at niagara is the "spanish aero car" ( not for the faint-hearted ) :scared:

I knew someone could refresh my memory - they say after you hit 30 is all downhill and I hit 30 in February.

What is the spanish aero car. Do you remember of the name of the acquarium and picnic area that was around that area? I've been racking my brain and even asked my parents - they remembered the place....but not the name?????

According to my tourist guide, the spanish Aero Car is a cableway across the "whirlpool". And that aquarium, are you reffering to Marineland?
Don't forget to hit the karma-button! :D

Really - I have no recollection of the "car" - maybe something new.

That was much to easy for it to just be called marineland? I should have thought of that........getting old I guess....was looking for something more difficult!!!

Getting old?
And you are?
30?
An easy one: shouldn't you replace "getting old" by "being blonde"? :p

And if Marineland was the correct answer, press the bluddy karma-button! ( :D )

Well, it's actually both - getting old and being blonde.

I'm not actually sure that it was Marineland (seems far too easy an answer to me - but you may be right). I know that Ocean MXD (or whatever his name is will know the answer!!!! Sometimes these childhood memories gave me nuts when you can only remember bits and pieces!!!!!

Spanish Aerocar has been there forever (since before 1920 anyway), but its down the gorge from the falls proper, near the rather nice whirlpool golf course, and a lot of tourists unfortunately never make it any further south than the ugly Casino by the rainbow bridge!

Marineland (remember the cheezt TV commercials) is the place with the "pet" whales and a few rollercoasters, a little to the NW of the falls?

By the way, 30 isnt old! Im over thirty and blond(ish) so theres no hope for me.

That weren't directed towards you? You know, you come on here, take this ground that I can't really put into words, asking silly questions about why bus drivers sit in cages, and when you don't get a reply, you turn to abusing people.

Now if you came from the UK, you will know the reason why. Where are you from then?

Come on...stop playing these stupid games with me....you left a message on a public forum that certainly had an inference towards Iain and myself and when you're made to look like an idiot you take this abusive line.....oh, whow is me... I'm so abused!!!!......you set yourself up for that one buddy.....so my question is.....when are you going to get real!!!!!!!
