Experts, Mr. Miller Please!
 

I request you to please throw some light on the latest interview time lines after you have got a letter saying you will be called for an interview. How much time it takes for buffalo to send the file to New York Office(my interview post) and how much time it takes for New York office to schedule interviews. I tried to look for this throughout the forum but no clear updates are there.

Also is it true(although unbelieveable) that CHC is thinking of all the clearing all the backlog cases by MArch/April 2003.

I got my assessment in May 2001(File no.: Oct 2001).

If you received assessment notice in May 2002 then you may expect call for the
interview around April/May next year at the earliest. Regardless what
intentions visa posts have about clearing the backlog by March 2003 it is not
very realistic task - unless they will simply reject everyone without due
process and this is unlikely to happen.
