PS, I did get to watch the I player on bbc and ITV with no problems using expat shield though.......

I use expat shield and its quite good but has drawbacks, the adds and the disabling of other connections.

I turn it off when I'm not accessing iPlayer, no adds and everything reverts OK.

I only use it on the old PC though that's perm attached to our TV.

I use AdBlock Plus & it deals with any ads..

Its funny, I live in the UK but 90% of the programs I watch are American so when I do make the move not alot to miss I am sure my wife can live without the dribble of Xfactor

I use Foxy Proxy for my US IP address so that I can watch the US Netflix & Hulu.
