Everybody should get PIN ??

Some applicants are issued a PIN. I did not get a PIN. I will appreciate if someone can explain it. Who should get this PIN and who should not. What is the use of it?

The PIN was issued only by Buffalo so that you could contact the Buffalo call centre
and receive status updates. So I assume that since the Buffalo Call Centre closed
31/03/02 that Buffalo would no longer send out the PIN.
