Even another electrical gadget question!
Hello,
I would like to purchase a digital radio for my boyfriend as an xmas gift. He can be pretty finnicky about sound - he's a bit (a lot) of an audio purist - swears vinyl is best though he listens to footie on a cheapo transistor radio and likes that . I know pretty much nothing about digital radio and I'm hard of hearing so everything sounds equally poor to me ;). Any recommendations about good digital radios for someone, that would fit his description, available in the UK or any links to informative websites? Merci. |
Re: Even another electrical gadget question!
My husband is a bit of a gadget person, and in the past I have got him stuff for xmas/birthday from this store called richer sounds, that was just down the road from where I use to work back in the UK.
They have an online shop that shows you what they have in stock, and the prices are very good. http://ws2.richersounds.com/productl...RS-PORTABLEDAB Good luck

Like reading this one being rude and vulgar in Dutch on this forum, perhaps? :o

No, not familiar with him, but heard of him, I think, in the context of vulgarity.

How are earth did you find the remote thread - were your ears burning? Stern is a radio personality out of New York I think who thrives on the publicity that he gets by trying to outdo himself with filthy disgusting language. He was been taken off the air from time to time. I don't listen to him and wouldn't waste my time doing so, and don't understand the attraction why people do. Besides I have you with your jokes anytime I need to hear any filthy jokes - our favourite filty joke expert. And yes, your jokes have been a huge success, but a few cute clean ones like you use to do would be nice.hehehehe :D |
