Engineering info please!

Hi i am looking to be able to work abroad in the future and am asking for any advice or info from you expats!
I am currently an Apprentice with BAE Systems working as a Pipe Fabricator/Fitter Engineer, training to NVQ Level 3 and higher, working on Ships and Submarines. Does anyone know if this type of work is available in Canada, if not in marine then in the Oil/Gas industries or Pipelines?
Thanks.

I would imagine that normally this type of experience would be useful for the oil and gas industry. BUT, a lot of oil and gas projects are being cancelled at the moment and the associated companies relying on these projects have been laying off in the 1000s

My husband applied last year through Engineer your Career, interviews are taking place in April.

Have a look and see if your profession is listed and send in your resume, get a riddle on. ;)

Good Luck

No probs.

If you have any questions please don't hesitate to PM me :)

I hope you have looked at the website, it would be one of the quicker ways for you to get out here if you fancy Alberta.
