Employer Costs for Employing a Migrant?
Can anyone tell me what the costs are to the Employer in Canada for employing someone on a work permit from the UK?
I have been asked by a potential employer?
I have been asked by a potential employer?

Labour Market opinion from HRDC is Free
Hiring an immigration lawyer / consultant is optional, but might smooth the process, and get you here sooner for them and that would be the main cost.
Be nice if they threw in a flight and some relocation expenses.
Other cost they may incur is for "foreign worker health insurance" coverage until OHIP (or other provincial equivalent) kicks in.
This might be a usefull link for them
