Emmigrate Show - Aintree - Worth Going?

Hi

We are wondering if anyone went to the Emigrate show in Aintree today and whether it is worth going?

We are unsure because our application for TWP using intra company transfers is progressing nicely but somehow feel that if we don't go tomorrow we will be missing out on something.

If you want today is it worth going?

Thanks.

I went.

It took me about 45 mins to go round the stalls relevant to me - I'm not interested in money transfers, storage, shipping or real estate which left 3 or 4 people to talk to.

IF anything comes of those conversations, then yes it was well worth while.

One of the very nice exhibitors did say they were surprised how small the venue was.

Thank you, sounds like the Canada Expo show really. Was there anyone there from CIC or the Canadian Embassy?

no officials there...very disappointing as I have a bunch of questions for them too!!

There were some nice people from Alberta, but they were very reluctant to answer any visa questions.

Hi me and my partner went to the show today... Didnt feel we had benefited but maybe that is because we have gathered a lot of information ourselves ..
There was mainly removal agents, financial advisors and if interested in moving to Alberta a good stall there for you .
Our application has been in for approx 17 mnths and we are looking at Ontario .
No Officials to question or relevent employers so for that reason dissapointing
But on the positive side it made us appreciate our application already half way there . It also made us happy to know we have our recci trip to look forward to in 5 weeks time . That will re boot us and know it will be us one day ....
