From the data I can find, load factor on the route hovers around 90%.

I think the one I was on was closer to 99% Load Factor - busy plane and not a great experience for a 13 hour flight
One plus factor is the shit hot entertainment system on board

I've done it. As far as air travel goes it's ok. Lots of food, comfortable planes with decent legroom (I'm only 5'2", so I'm pretty ok on any plane). Dubai airport wasn't fabulous, but Emirates gave me a free hotel because my layover was 7+ hours so I have no complaints.

I live in Perth Australia, so it's good to have only 1 stopover rather than going through the US or Asia.

Sorry, just saw you asked if the plane was full. I had an empty seat between me and my only seatmate on the way from YYZ-DXB so we both put our feet up on the middle seat and slept. On the DXB-YYZ leg I had an empty row of 3 seats so could sleep laying down across the row of seats.

I'd like to try them someday, but have no interest in going to Dubai, and there are easier ways to get to most of the rest of the world, so probably never will fly them.
