Emigrate Show
 

Ive just read on forum that Belfast Emigrate show has been cancelled! Typical that we're the one's to lose out. But anyway my question is would it be worthwhile to fly to Edinburgh for the show or would that be an unnecessary expense. Im so disappointed.

Think it really depends what you are going to the show hoping to find out. We had done a lot of searching on the internet before we went and pretty much all the stands there are currency, houses, or moving companys. Which you can find from mags etc. The talks were good but generally only covered ground that I had already found out before we went although it was nice to have it confirmed!

Although we did meet some really great people at one of the property stands that have been great and have become friends with and have made the move a lot lot easier for us, won't mention names as know that can course a war on this site lol But have to say that for us this was the only thing worth the entrance ticket.

This was just my experience though other people may have found it to be a lot more help to them. Good luck with it. :rofl:

We were all set and really looking forward to exhibiting at the Belfast Show :( We were exhibiting there last year and met some great folks

If any families who were going to Belfast are now thinking of going to Edinburgh, contact us as and we will gladly send you some complimentary tickets to the Edinburgh Show (we do have a limited supply of tickets)

We went to an emigrate show in Leeds last year and we were very disappointed, they seemed to have very little in the way of representing facilities to migrate to anywhere other than Alberta. Seeing as we want to go to BC this wasn't much help. But like we said, even after the long drive from Somerset, if you don't go then you wont know.
