Electricians Wages In Toronto
How much does the average construction Electrician earn in Toronto? Getting mixed answers when reading through previous threads.
I can see the average wage says its $27 dollars an hr but wanted to hear from Electricians first hand.
Does it work on a day rate when sub-contracting like in the UK or are most people PAYE?
27 x 40 is 1080, is this in the region I would be looking at?
Do most Electricians work on Saturdays as well like it is here in London? If so is it time and a half etc?
Any answers much appreciated

Re: Electricians Wages In Toronto
Electricians in the construction industry probably have to be in the union. steel erectors, welders, plumbers, dry wallers and painters I know are. Google Local 721 Toronto which is the Ironworkers (steel erectors, welders) union and hit wages. The Electricians is roughly the same , how easy or hard it is to get into the Electricians Union though I don't know.
Good luck
