electrician
Hi all
New here so please bare with me if im releating. Im a time served commercial and industrial electrician with 12 years experience. Im looking at possibility of re locating my family to canada and wanting advice and feedback about the liklihood of gaining employment in canada and affordability. I know I would have to take a red seal exam/test. Are there any sparks on here over there that know of opportunities and have advice? Thanks |

Re: electrician
Have a look at the Federal Skilled Worker (Trades) program: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/trades/index.asp
You could also look into Provincial Nomination - BC, for instance, only requires you to have a job offer: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigra.../apply-who.asp You could also post in the BE Electricians forum here: http://britishexpats.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=97 If you put in a search on BE, you will find quite a few threads regarding immigrating as an electrician. To get threads that are relative, go to http://britishexpats.com/forum/search.php - put "Electrician" as the keyword, select "show results as posts" and select Canada Immigration, unselect "child forums" and you should be able to find them all. :) |
