Electrical items from UK to Canada,Ottawa

Hi. Could anyone tell me whether electrical items ranging from washing machines;fridge freezers to toasters;kettles;bread makers;tv;dvd bought in the UK will work in Canada either with or without the use of transformers. Will there be any loss of power? Thank you
