education confusion
I have two children aged 10 and 15 girls. they have both been privately educated. We hope to move to Vancouver will we have to pay or not. I am confused as I have been told that education is free their, but have also read on the forum that people have had to make contributions or pay.
Can somebody please enlighten me please. Thanks Sandra |

So you or your children may be asked to participate in fund raising ventures to raise money to help with school needs. Cheers Steve |

If you are putting you children into the public system in BC there should be no extra fees for materials. There was a court ruling on this issue last Monday I believe banning the charging of extra fees for materials.

Sandra In that case please join your girl's school PAC - yes it is a brilliant way to meet people and every PAC is looking for volunteers!
