Don't know too much about manufacturing positions I'm afraid. Joffre chemical plant is one of the major employers though.

Places to live - depends what you like. Older neighbourhoods have bigger lots, newer neighbourhoods have bigger houses. How long are you in town for?

I'd go along with the view that Edmonton has a lot more plants to look at, plus Fort Saskatchewan is only half hour away.
