Default ecent experience shipping to Canada?

Has anyone had recent experience shipping personal possessions from the UK to Canada as part of their move? Any removal firms or shipping firms or moving companies that are worth noting (positively or negatively) in 2009?

There are a number of older threads on this topic, but I am curious about recent experiences.

used Robinsons in Jan 09, they were brilliant, held onto our container until we wanted it shipped in Feb. Very professional at all times and company they used in Canada were brilliant as well. No breakages and everything packed very well from big items to small. Company were easy to talk to and answered all questions I had. Were given one person to ring with queries and had quick responses.

We used a company called FOXES IN february 2009 (now called clockwork ) and they were fab. They had been recommended to us cause my sister had used them in 2007 and friends of ours used them in April 2008. They packed everything really well, were very friendly and reassuring. Told us when container would leave before it left the house and when it was due to arrive. It only took just over three weeks to arrive but exactly four weeks by the time we recieved it at our house. The delivery men worked hard to unpack it all and put up beds and other furniture etc.We got a 20ft container and it cost £4200 which seamed a lot of money but it was well worth it,

Hi

We have just had everything delivered to NS via PSS, they were great and by far the cheapest quote by nearly £1000 £3200 for sole use 20 ft container

Packing men in the UK were really nice, efficient and so too the agents this end, no breakages, cannot recommend them enough, makesure you haggle the price, they are desperate for business at the moment

Good luck
