Driving Licence

Hello All, just a quickie. When I arrive in Toronto I am aware I can convert my UK driving licence into a Canadian one via the "reciprocal Exchange" method, however if I want to hire a car immediately from the airport on arrival before I exchange, can I just use my UK licence or do I also need an international driving permit?

You can use your UK one. I think there's a maximum time that you can use it for.
