Drink Driving - visitor entry to Canada
 

Hi,

Just a quick one.

Anyone know what the restrictions are for a visitor to enter Canada with a 10yr old dring driving conviction from the uk? My mate's wanting to come over with us on recci.

Your friend may want to ensure eligibility to enter before arriving and being turned back. If it is 10 years since the sentence was completed he may well be OK, but you should still check with the authorities, as they are the only ones who can give you a definitive answer. Impaired driving does make someone ineglible to enter even as a visitor until they are deemed rehabilitated.
