My OH has been racing 1/10th scale radio controlled cars for over 20 years now. We are hoping to move to Calgary..hopefully Okotoks area or nearby, around September time. Does anyone know of, or race at, model car clubs in Calgary?

Any help would be appreciated as he does not want to stop his hobby

My hubby does "toy" (its not a toy its a scale model") car racing here in UK, every 2nd Friday. This would be one of the first things he would be finding out about if/when we moved over!!!!

That was one of the conditions of the move...as long as there is a car club he said he would be happy

I actually raced too, for 7 years. We run a club near to us, Jason is Chairman and I am comp secretary. I dont race anymore as I got sick of it. Still go to the club though to run competitions. Maybe you would get the bug if you tried it lol.. when are you moving to canada?

I dont think id have the patience for racing. I dont mind having a play with his mini or his big petrol ones outdoors!

Not sure on the Canada move. We are still in the deciding stages also depends on the job situations!!
