Doctors aargh!!!

Been in Kingston since January and health cards have just come through for hubby and kids so now have to find a family doctor which is pretty impossible as it seems no-one wants to take on new patients if anybody knows of any taking on newbies would be most grateful for info thanks

Same thing here in Ottawa. Was forced to use a walk-in clinic the other day and the doc I saw there was absolutely horrendous. This article may or may not help. Good luck!

Hi Michele,
We experienced the very same problem when we lived in SW Ontario! I believe the GP shortage in Ontario is really bad. We were lucky though because our next door neighbour put a good word in at her surgery and we managed to get accepted. - having said that, the GP himself turned out to be a complete ass, but at least we had our own Dr.
