Diploma problems

i know that to get a canadian high school diploma you need 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 but what about A-levels?

Does it take a lower number of A-levels(UK Highers) to make up a diploma or does it not work like that?

Thanks

EDIT - I should make this more clear.im 18 and living in scotland just now and in a few years id like to move to canada and join the police force but i need to know if i need to go to college and get more qualifications first

Re: Diploma problems

Just as a thought, but if you're 18 and want to go to Canada have you considered Bunac? (just Google it).

As for qualifications, this may help...........http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Equiva...cations-Canada, or this article also has info (just look at the Education part of it)..... http://britishexpats.com/wiki/Resume-Canada

Good luck and welcome to the forum. :)
