Destination shipping Fee's Question??
 

We just contacted the shipping company that hubby's good are coming into in Vancouver, and were told that besides the shipping fee we paid up front in UK we will have to pay two additional destination fees of almost $250 cad to be able to pick up our stuff :mad:

Would really like to know if anyone else has had to pay destination fees on top of their shipping fees???

It depends on what terms you shipped the goods under, from experience you normally have costs like terminal handling/ demmurage if held up in customs/ onward haulage. You really need to check your terms :eek:
