Deals back to U.K
Hi all,
My family are paying for me and my son to come home for a couple of weeks. I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions on last minute deals? I am 45 mins from vancouver so can leave at any time really. Would it be cheaper to book one way last minute then the same in the U.K? Canadian affair seems just as expensive the day before but i'm looking for like standby seats etc. Hope someone can help. Christie |
Re: Deals back to U.K
I've been shuttling between London and Vancouver every few months for about eight years now. Air Transat (Canadian Affair) are usually about half the price of BA and considerably cheaper than Air Canada.
Mind you I've only ever bothered with direct flights and was happy flying from either Gatwick (Air Trans) or Heathrow (BA, AirCan). If you go with Air Transat check their schedule, they don't fly every day and seem to run a reduced service in the winter months. |

You might luck out and get a last minute deal, although I've never seen any. AT is the cheapest AFAIK.
