Default Custom-made Canadian furniture

Hi guys, has anyone used and can recommend Canadian (preferably Ontario-based) furniture makers? I found a couple of places I like online and I am going to visit them, but it would be so much easier to go with a recommended establishment. I've looked through historic BE threads, nothing suitable.
Many thanks!

This company only sells higher end Canadian made furniture. Browse the site and contact the suppliers directly or google a furniture store local to you that carries the same brands.

The Mennonite furniture shop on the grounds of the St. Jacobs market has some nice stuff and will make items to order.

Thank you, dbd33. Just checked St Jacob's market site, looks like an interesting place and a great day out. I actually came across a site for Mennonite furniture in Aylmer, quite liked it. So we'll definitely visit the market.

Can anyone explain to me why Canadian websites rarely have prices, not even a range?

Very frustrating

If you're referring to the site I posted, the customization (leg style, wood type, stain, polish, fabric etc determines the price). For a small independent business like Casa Decor it'd be too expensive to build and maintain a site with the 1000's of customized price options.

Besides, if you have to ask, you can't afford it

RICH

I wasn't.

I simply find it very frustrating when the vast majority of Canadian websites, be it cars, tractors, furniture etc. don't have prices but invite you to "contact us for a price"

I agree. Ecommerce here is generally a poor experience.
