Credential assessment service

Has anyone out there used a verification company like CICIC or ICES to get their non-degree qualifications assessed???? So OK, an NVQ3 isn't the greatest qual to have but I don't really want to spend money on something no-one's gonna ask for so I suppose another question is wether anyone has found any assessment of any qualification helpful in finding a job???

Any thought's/constructive comments would be helpful.

Cheers.

You need to get your qualifications assessed for governmental jobs. But it sure is usefull to shop around and check how much various agencies ask to do this, and also: ask what they can offer you. This is very important, some ask lots of money but give you null!!

Some bigger companies (like Irving) also ask for assessed qualifications! But this depends on the job your applying for!
