It's a bit flat and straight, Airport Rd, Trafalger Rd or Winston Churchill are better. If you must take 10, go straight on at Primrose rather than taking the jog along 89, that road zig zags through Boyne Valley Provincial Park then straightens out through farms and isn't much policed, 120 is possible up the hill. Take the first paved road left, at the stop sign by the old school house with the MGBs, and you'll come out on 10 without losing any time.

If you carry on, past the school house, then you get in a maze of, er, challenging roads. River Road is popular with motorcyclists as it's twisty and scenic. The Pine River Hunting and Fishing preserve along there is a favourite spot to take the dog swimming, it's quiet (except for the guns) and offers classic backwoods views over the river.
Prince of Wales Road is viable for a car in summer but has high banks either side so it's not very scenic. Centre Road south from Kilgorie is shown as a dead end on google maps but it's actually driveable if nothing comes the other way. It's dirt and steep and there's forest and/or drops either side, a fine place to introduce someone to driving in Canada.
Terra Nova is a lovely place with a view almost to the CNN tower and 2nd Line E a nice road but for a real adventure one should 20th sideroad all the way from Conover east until one's faith in the car gives out. Whilst in the area, if in a Deliverence type of mood, look up Dundalk Poultry and drive over there, note that everyone looks the same, has no teeth and is waving a pitchfork threateningly, you aint in Kansas no more.

If you look at the flow of traffic coming onto the Deerfoot from 17 Ave and then the flow exiting onto Memorial Drive, it's a recipe for collisions, ditto for Bow Bottom Trail.
In any event, signage in Alberta is poor and often invisible during the winter.

Hmm, in the UK sense not many, there are all sorts of crazy roads but the road surface quality is usually poor. If you go down Highway 3 then 95 from the Crow's Nest Pass down to the US border that can be fun if you pick a day when you're not likely to get stuck behind RVs and trucks.
