Thanks. I guess the residents from South Surrey who were complaining must have been in the Crescent Beach area. Where I live, on the south side of the peninsula I don't hear commercial aircraft at all.

Now, if we can only do something about the recreational pilots who fly their single engine prop planes on the weekend like they are WWII fighter pilots I will be a very happy man

We stopped with relatives in Pitt Meadows which is just before Maple Ridge, if i remember its approx 42km from Pitt Meadows to the city so Maple will be another 3 or 4 on top of that( via the lougheed/ Barnett. It used to be if there were more people in the vehicle it could use the bus lane during rush hour. Maple Ridge is very nice place but the prices have shot up since we were there.
