I think Glas should seriously think about retraining. I go through spells where my current job does nothing for me. I am like that just now, current job is not challenging anymore, it is boring and I am afraid working with those convicted by the courts is not all its cracked up to be.

I have gone through various re-training times in my short working life. it has been both beneficial and necessary to keep up with current job demands. I have just completed a 3 year HNC in First Line Management, all to benefit me getting into Canada, and that was a hard slog. I to have certificates coming out of my ears, some worthwhile, others are not worth the paper they are written on, but who cares they are all certificates.

At this moment I am sort of like a bus inspector, always collecting tickets, or in my case certificates, all to help me in my quest to get into Canada.

Will they be of any use when I get there, NO WAY HOSAY !!!!!!! but who cares !!!!

So Glas get yer school heed on and get back to the thought of a possible career change. That's exactly what I will be doing when I eventually get over ( Lets hope so )

PS BC is the choice for us, still has four seasons, not to harsh a winter, a decent summer, and it always has great recommendations. friend in work went last year, does not know of my plans to move there.
He knows we are coming over next July, his reply, if you go to Vancouver you will not want to come back to this dump. ( meaning Glasgow and the UK as a whole )

So there you go, BC it is for us !!!!!!!

Is there a problem here fellow Macer? I had an absolutely wonderful afternoon down at the beach with my kids. Is this something you want to discuss on the forum or pm me about?

If I thought for a moment that McGrouch would take my comments seriously, I would never leave them....hopefully, he knows me well enough by now.....to just have a good laugh about me being a "nutcase".....
