Welcome and good luck with your quest.
Canada is a vastly huge place, with great contrasts in weather, cost of living etc. depending where you are talkign about
People will be glad to answer specific questions, but I suggest you read Judys excellent article here first

For my broad brushstrokes description of Canada's regions, see post #6 in the thread about researching Canada.
Here is Citizenship and Immigration Canada's web page about study permits.
Be warned that foreign university students pay much higher tuition (two or three times higher) than local university students.
There have been many discussions about cost of living. You can find them by using the forum's search function.
When you say you want to do "college" courses, I don't know the sense in which you're using "college." Are you using it in the British, American or Canadian sense? Unlike Americans, Canadians do not refer to university as college. In Canada a university is a university. Canada also has colleges that grant certificates and diplomas, but usually not degrees.
In any event, if you want to find out about universities or colleges in Canada, just do a Google search for UNIVERSITIES + CANADA or COLLEGES + CANADA.
