Coming over on LMO but looking for other job?
Can anyone tell me if you go over on an LMO for a company are u still entitled to look for other work?
Would the other company be able to employ you the same as any other person or are we still classed as Expats and need an LMO even though we are there?
any help will be great

you would as far as I am aware need a new LMO and TWP if you find another job even if already in Canada. Only time I can think you will not need to do this is if a PR or citizen

Basically the LMO is the Govt. telling your employer that if they hire you you will qualify for a TWP which will be tied to that employer.
You can look for other work but you have to go through the same LMO/TWP process.
Until you change you immigration status with respect to Canada i.e. become a permanent resident, you are not free to work without restriction.
