Coldest winter since 1994

Skidoos stolen, roof needs replacing before winter but the roofing people say it won't be done till next year because of the snow, house sale fallen through in the UK again, daughter pregnant and now this...

It's going to be brass monkeys. I just hope that my furnace lasts until the thaw next May - it's scheduled for replacement next summer... :(

Doesn't surprise me, my girlfriend was saying that we're having January weather for Saskatoon in November already... at least the lowest temperature I've noticed so far (without wind-chill) was only -25C.
There was something on the news about cold air coming down from the Arctic, I guess that explains it. |
