Class 7 - buying a car
 

Hi there,

I have an Alberta basic road test soon and have a Class 7 license, do you chaps know if i can just buy a car with that license class? because unlike the UK, you NEED a car to do the test right? (could you do it with a hire car!?) Also with insurance any recommendations?

I got the basic AMA memebership.

Also if i pass and i get a Class 5 - can i exchange that in the UK when i go back?

How would you hire a car without a license? Even if someone else hired it for you I doubt it would be insured for a licenseless person.

You said you had an AMA membership.

Schedule some lessons through AMA and use one of their cars for the test.
