CIPD and CHRP

CIPD and CHRP
I currently work in HR and have done for the past 20 years - I know that the CIPD do not have any arrangements in place with the CHRP. Has anyone with membership of the CIPD sat the CHRP? If so, how did you find it? I am hoping that it will just be a case of studying Canadian Labour Law - is this realistic?

I myself is currently in the process of passing my CIPD qualification, and I will move to Canada around end of 2010/2011, so any info you may have gathered since your post will be helpful!
