CIC On-Line Service Status
 
When the request for medical is sent out, does the on-line status change from “In Progress” to something else??

Hi Jibba

We have had our Med request thru and still show as "in progress" so the answer to your question would be NO :p

It changes only after everything has been finalized, to "decision made". Even at that point anything can still happen

I had my passport with the visa in it before mine changed.
