Chips in Calgary
Hiya folks.
For over 2 years I have embraced everything Canadian and I am now DESPERATE for some authentic chippie chips, not the over-cooked fries that have been advertised as 'proper British chips'. I want soggy, yellow, salt & vinegar soaked chips wrapped in paper mmmmm. I heard of a new chippy in Bridlewood and also heard it's not too good... does anyone know of anywhere in Calgary/Cochrane/Airdrie that I can get a 'fix'? Ta ;) |
Re: Chips in Calgary

Re: Chips in Calgary
I agree with Piff Poff. You are only going to get something resembling chippy chips if you make your own. Try "fatter" ones to stop them getting crispy maybe?

Re: Chips in Calgary
Why not resign yourself that it's not going to happen for you here, but you can get Weetabix according to another "long" thread, so why don't you go for that.
