Hiya does anyone know of any good Chinese or Curry Restaurants that also do Take outs in SE Calgary - McKenzie - Cranston end of the city.

Karma Indian Restaurant on 130th is very good. It pales in comparison to Moti Mahal which is in Midnapore near the World Health Club. Their food is about the best you can get in Calgary.

Whenever we are in the UK we always go for indian there, and I find it is totally different.

If you dont mind a drive, Chili Club Thai House is the best Thai curry around. They are downtown though on 5th and 11th sw.

For chinese, my go to is Hong Kong Garden in Shawnessy by the Safeway.

Would have to disagree with both of these. Karma is mediocre at best, Chilli club (IMHO) can not touch the quality of King & I or Bangkoki.

Safeway and Costco sell Pataks curry sauces if you fancy doing your own (they are imported from the UK, made in Lancashire)!

We quite like the Moti Mahal in Midnapore near the World Health Club. The food is good and the prices aren't bad either. Karma at 130th was very middle of the road and I don't think we would go back.

Moti Mohal is the best English style curry in Calgary and Royal Thai on McLeod in Avenida is pretty good too
