Childcare Calgary

Hi all,

Well, we've finally arrived in the lovely city that is Calgary. I'm loving everything so far, with the exception of finding childcare for my 16 month old son (I start work on the 27th!! eek!).

We're living in Eau Claire at the moment and I am commuting to Bowness for work, and these are the areas that I have been looking for day homes and nurseries. I had several appointments booked, but these places have now been taken. I have one more appontment booked for Tuesday but would like to see more.

Anyway, long story short, could anyone recommend a child care provider with spaces or an agency that could help me find one?

Thanks,

Amie

Re: Childcare Calgary

Some of the daycares in the NW off the top of my head are:
Kids and Company (quite a few locations but pricey!) - quite a few downtown
Cancare - Scenic Acres and Arbor Lake
Silver Springs
Panda - Ranchlands
Bowness montgomery daycare assn
Always seems to be loads of options in Tuscany!
Also trawl through kijiji for dayhomes. Might be something in Bowness or cougar ridge maybe?

Re: Childcare Calgary

Try www.thedayhomeconnection.com in Calgary. We have attended the Chimes and Rainbows locations and been very happy with the food and toys, etc. Pricier than private dayhomes but if the carer is sick they will get a substitute etc.
