CHILD BENEFIT IN CANADA ?
 
Hello , i was wondering if theres an equivlant to child benefit here in canada .

Also may be able to get the Universal Canadian Child Benefit - if you have any children under 6 yrs old then you will receive $100 per month per child towards to the cost of child care.

Canada wide benefits

Child Tax Benefit.. Means tested paid monthly
Universal Child care Benefit...$100 per month per child to the age of 6
GST/HST.... for lower income families paid quarterly dependant on salary and how many children you have.


Different Provinces also offer there own benefits.

If you go to the canada revenue website there is a calculator for both the child tax benefit and GST/HST. It will give you an idea of how much you can get.

Also you only need to declare the Universal child benefit on your tax return.
