No, that's heritage. And the "more likely to face in the UK" bit is questionable at best, at least they'd be warm.

You see, although Lock Stock was a good film, I prefer the more classic British gangster movies. Long Good Friday and Get Carter. If I had to choose from the more modern genre it'd be "Welcome to the Layer Cake son".

Re: Child abuse?
I have a 17 year old son who fits into the "I am not sure wot I am" category, he was 5 when we came over....my hubby and I are very English...and both my boys are trying to be very CDN to fit into society, he has said he sometimes feels lost and doesn't know where he fits in...do I think this constitutes child abuse.....absolutely NOT....just means as parents we have a little more work to do to help them feel secure and hope they come out of teenage hood well balanced....do I think they are better off here in Canada, guess it depends where one chooses to live....I always say, same shit diff country....wot I have noticed about my boys tho compared to my friends children in the UK....they are much more street wise than mine...its swings and traffic lights!!!
