Just checked this morning. The flight I want with air transat has gone up by £25 and the flight is in September - should I book it now to avoid the cost going up? I have looked at other dates around that time but there is only £5 -£10 in it.

Wish I was going next month - some flights are only £230 which is making me want to wait and take the risk as I'm happy to be slightly more flexible with my dates for a much cheaper flight.

Generally airfare doesn't go down as you near the travel date, sometimes it does, but it could end up costing a good chunk more as September draws closer.

If the price is acceptable and you can afford it, buy. You can wait and risk it, but it may go up and never come back down.
