Cheapest place for moving boxes (in Canada)?
Any suggestions? Seen a storage place that has a sign saying they sell them, but not sure if they will be the cheapest.... Probably need about two dozen boxes for moving house in 7 weeks time.
TIA!

These guys seem quite a bit cheaper than U-haul and similar. I suppose you will have to factor in shipping costs.

Depends on what you want but you could try Freecycle - certainly in Calgary there are usually a regular supply available in the local area to collect for free.....

I've got a garage full of them...removal firm never took them away! Most are now flat as easier to store...if you want to drive all the way to Barrie you can have them for free....also got all the wrapping paper used for ornaments etc!

This is true...I always get takers when I put the offer up there after a move. The other option is to have the moving company take them away, which they are mandated to do when they finish the unpacking.
G77....perhaps you can use a network of Brits on here to get the Barrie offer closer to you? Someone in say Toronto picks them up from Barrie, then someone in Milton/Oakville/Burlington then gets it from TO......blah blah

Would it be easier/cheaper just to get them off a removal company? I presume they give them to you when you agree to use their services?
We're a couple of months from moving yet, would it be too soon to start arranging a removal company?

Go to your local mall/stores and ask in the stores if they have any spare boxes. I know at Eddie Bauer we're always happy to give them away as it saves a garbage run BTW Eddie Bauer sized boxes are perfect for moving as they are big enough for stuff but small enough they don't get too heavy and easy to move through doors etc. Also this time of year all the shops are getting lots of deliveries.

Just ask in your local shops. I went to the local Beer Store who came up with a few for me. They recommended that I call into the convenience store on the corner. I did and I came away with as many boxes as I needed.

I've only ever got boxes from the LCBO. They have loads, none of them huge but for books, small appliances and the like, they're ideal. And it helps a dismally anti-environment organisation do a little to recycle.
