Can anyone recommend a cheap hotel situated near 1 St Clair Ave E in Toronto?

Also any ideas please on the cost of a cab from Toronto airport to downtown Toronto?

Taxi is about $45, for an extra ten bucks you can get a limo. Limos take plastic, taxis may not. There are also lots of gypsy cabs, the fare for them is whatever you can negotiate. There's also an airport bus, bus and then taxi might be cheaper.

1 St. Clair will be at the subway station so you can stay anywhere. This place is cheap when school is out and reasonably central :
